Kona’s Hei Hei DL Trail uses 100 millimeters of Fuse Independent Suspension travel in the rear. Kona’s calling the $4,699 Hei Hei DL an early 2017 release, but it should hit streets in the USA, Canada, and Europe this May.

The Hei Hei Trail, tested here, was designed to bridge the gap between Kona’s XC bikes and its bigger enduro-oriented rigs. This year we’ve completely redesigned the geometry of the Hei Hei CR Race to meet the demands of ever-changing cross-country tracks.

With 140 millimeters of front and rear suspension travel and 27.5-inch wheels, the Hei Hei Trail falls comfort- ably into the trail category. Recently we tested the Kona Hei Hei CR/DL in our pumped-up XC bike test.
